GLOBAL- and Regional-SCALE Modeling Datasets ---

The map below shows the regional-scale model domains used to hindcast ocean and ecosystem climate variability with the Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS). The regional grids (white contours) are nested within the output of the global eddy-resolving (~10km) hindcast of the Earth Simulator Model (OFES) between 1950-present. The model ouput includes the passive tracers output used to compute the upwelling and transport statistics.
